Job summary

Kenco Logistics, a leading 3PL provider, seeks a Director of Logistic Operations to steer regional site activities and partner with site GMs. You will manage complex client relationships, identify value-added services, and guide long-range plans for optimal efficiency while maximizing profits.

Significant travel is required. Responsibilities include shaping the network vision, building customer profiles, and presenting value solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, logistics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of supply chain management, business management or logistics experience requested.
• 3–5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the proven ability to maximize team performance and development.
• Robust understanding of supply chain strategies.
• Strong customer relationship skills; ability to balance and manage customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the network vision; translate to sites and employees.
• Identify new business opportunities and maximize revenue and margins with existing customers.
• Facilitate monthly/quarterly business reviews to showcase performance and value.
• Oversee day-to-day site performance against KPIs and introduce new measures.
• Meet with General Managers monthly to ensure operations alignment.
• Lead safety initiatives across the network to reduce risk.
• Develop customer profiles and review issues, opportunities, and contracts.
• Build business cases and proposals aligned with customer objectives.
• Provide leadership and training to employees; coordinate with L&D for staff development.
• Implement new programs and cross-functional collaboration.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to assess site capabilities for efficiency and quality.
• Regularly visit sites to maintain management presence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
