Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Director of Logistic Operations to lead regional site activities, liaise with clients, and optimize value-added services. The role drives long-range plans for customer sites to maximize efficiency and profits while upholding Kenco’s guiding principles.

Significant travel is required to oversee sites and ensure alignment with corporate goals. The ideal candidate has extensive supply chain leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of supply chain management or logistics experience
• 3-5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to maximize team performance
• Robust understanding of supply chain strategies
• Strong customer relationship skills and ability to balance expectations with corporate goals
• Proactive approach to employee relations and cost growth management
• Ability to travel frequently

Responsibilities

• Provide vision for the network and translate it to sites and employees
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and drive revenue and margins
• Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews
• Monitor site performance against KPIs and introduce new measurements
• Meet with General Managers monthly to maintain operational visibility
• Promote safety initiatives across the network
• Build customer profiles and review issues, opportunities, and contracts
• Create business cases and present proposals aligning with customer objectives
• Coach and train staff with Learning & Development support
• Lead implementation of new programs and cross-functional initiatives
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to assess site capabilities for efficiency
• Visit sites regularly to maintain management presence
