Job summary

NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development seeks a Director for the TCHM oversight within the Division of Asset Management. You will supervise a ~13-person team, ensure compliance with TC and HOME rules, and coordinate with internal partners to uphold affordable housing obligations.

You will master applicable regulations, manage data systems, and lead efforts to identify process improvements and resolve complex noncompliance issues.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with 4+ years of admin/ management experience.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating program activities.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of ~13 in monitoring the TCHM portfolio.
• Provide leadership to shape day-to-day and long-term work.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Communicate with Asset Management Unit and Office of Development on compliance performance.
• Address compliance issues with property owners and managers.
• Master federal rules and HPD policies for TC/HOME programs.
• Oversee the Access data system for tracking, reporting, and planning.
