Job summary

QXO is seeking a Director of Learning & Talent Development to lead enterprise-wide talent initiatives, ensuring scalable, cost-aware learning solutions aligned with business priorities. You will guide strategy, solution design, and instructional excellence while establishing governance across the portfolio.

The role requires deep expertise in instructional design, analytics, and enterprise learning technologies, plus strong leadership to develop a high-performing L&TD team and deliver measurable

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of Learning & Talent Development with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide learning portfolios and budgets.
• Deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and blended delivery.
• Ability to build and develop high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise operating model for Learning & Talent Development and portfolio.
• Set enterprise standards, workflows, and quality expectations across learning solutions.
• Balance priorities with capacity; optimize resources and sequencing of projects.
• Provide guidance on strategy, instructional approaches, and solution design for big initiatives.
• Lead learning development and delivery operations across multiple formats (ILT, virtual, hybrid, self-paced).
• Coordinate deployments, logistics, change readiness, and stakeholder alignment at scale.
• Drive end-to-end learning lifecycle improvements and measurable outcomes.
• Establish measurement and reporting frameworks using learning tech and business data.
• Evaluate and optimize learning technologies to improve scalability and learner experience.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
