Job summary

RTX seeks an Associate Director of Learning Solutions Design to lead enterprise strategy for scalable learning platforms and content. You will guide instructional and digital design teams, shape the RTX University experience, and govern learning standards across the organization.

The role requires leading cross‑functional partnerships, driving adoption of enterprise learning solutions, and aligning learning with business priorities and capability development.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience.
• Experience in learning strategy, instructional design, learning experience design, digital learning, talent development, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading instructional design and learning teams.
• Experience building scalable learning architectures and governance in a complex org.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, learning science, and performance consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of instructional and digital designers for various learning modalities.
• Set strategy and architecture for enterprise learning solutions.
• Advance RTX University content strategy and platform evolution.
• Establish build/buy/curate/reuse/retire practices to improve quality and scalability.
• Advise senior stakeholders on learning strategies and investment decisions.
• Ensure integration of learning solutions with LMS and learning tech ecosystem.
• Use data and outcomes to continuously improve learning solutions.
• Manage external vendors and budgets as needed.
