Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a senior Learning & Development professional to design and implement workforce development strategies across the organization. You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with external training providers, and analyze learning needs to close skill gaps in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The role emphasizes strategic consulting, change management, and measurable outcomes to advance career pathways and organizational learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of learning in healthcare (Required).
• Experience analyzing workforce data to optimize learning and development (Required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Required).
• Strong problem-solving skills (Required).
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams (Required).
• Executive-level presentation/facilitation skills (Required).
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organization, and ability to manage multiple projects (Required).
• Experience building partnerships and relationships (Required).
• Strategic and critical thinking for practical solutions (Required).
• Knowledge of change management best practices (Required).
• Experience with learning theories/models (Preferred).
• Experience with career development methodologies (Preferred).
• Excel and data analytics expertise (Preferred).
• PowerBI knowledge (Preferred).
• Experience in consulting/managing in matrix organizations (Preferred).
• Progressive management leading teams to high performance (Required).

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements professional development strategies aligned with the Dynamic Learning Community strategy.
• Leads project teams to execute organizational learning initiatives and programs.
• Builds and nurtures alliances with external training providers and educational institutions.
• Analyzes learning needs and supports regional teams in addressing skill gaps.
• Maintains knowledge of current practices in learning science.
• Acts as strategic partner to drive organizational change through learning initiatives.
• Establishes and monitors educational program goals and outcomes.
• Conducts needs assessments to identify learning and development requirements.
• Develops and curates learning programs and resources to support career pathways.
• Creates metrics to measure effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.
• Provides feedback and recommendations to leaders to improve learning strategies.
• Collaborates with senior management to design and deliver learning solutions.
• Provides strategic consulting to enhance learning and development efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
