Job summary

Harvey is scaling rapidly and seeks a Director of IT to own IT Operations and Systems & Network Engineering end-to-end, including help desk, endpoint management, identity, and collaboration stack across offices worldwide.

The role requires a hands-on technical leader with a security-first mindset, able to build and develop strong engineering teams and partner with Security, Engineering, and Workplace teams to keep Harvey running as we grow.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT operations and/or systems and network engineering, with leadership experience.
• Hands-on with modern IT infrastructure: identity management, endpoint management, cloud collaboration, and enterprise networking.
• Track record of scaling IT operations in a high-growth, multi-office environment.
• Security-first judgment with SOC 2, SSO/SCIM and data protection awareness.
• Experience owning budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and day-to-day execution for IT Operations and Systems & Network Engineering across global offices.
• Oversee Harvey's A/V, conference room, and live production tech for all-hands and events.
• Lead and grow a team of managers and senior engineers; create new IT roles as needed.
• Set service-level standards for global IT, ensuring uptime and a high-quality employee experience.
• Drive the technical roadmap for identity, zero-trust networking, and high-availability infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Security to ensure SOC 2 compliance, encryption, and data protection.
• Manage IT infrastructure delivery for office builds and global expansion with Workplace and vendors.
• Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement aligned with Finance.
