Job summary

Leslie's Pool Supplies seeks a Director of Infrastructure to lead the IT infrastructure team, ensuring performance, security, and scalability of systems. You will plan, design, implement, and manage infrastructure strategy, cloud migration, and standards.

You will collaborate with IT leaders, stakeholders, and vendors to align roadmaps with business priorities, manage staff, and deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge in networking (CCNA or equivalent), cloud computing, virtualization, IBM iSeries Midrange, and other relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the infrastructure and operations strategy, architecture, policies, and standards to support business goals.
• Manage the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, network, backup, DR, and monitoring.
• Lead cloud workload migration and integration with existing infrastructure with best practices, security, and compliance.
• Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations and Jira work-orders, checklists, and SOX access reviews.
• Monitor performance, availability, reliability, and scalability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budget, resources, and staff; provide coaching and feedback.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects to successful completion.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and partners; negotiate contracts.
• Stay updated on trends and implement new solutions and innovations.
