Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Leader for Business Systems to own and scale the data and systems layer that supports our operations and projects. You will transform spreadsheet-heavy workflows into a trusted data foundation and lead end-to-end system implementations.

You will partner with department leaders and the CFO to ensure data integrity, governance, and secure IT oversight as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business systems, information systems, or data management, including implementations you led from start to finish.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience in a production environment.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, middleware, or low-code tools.
• A track record of putting data governance and integrity controls in place.
• Experience managing IT vendors and overseeing security processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the Smartsheet environment from end to end: architecture, permissions, dashboards, automations, and integrations
• Design and manage databases and data models that support operations, construction, asset management, and accounting
• Work with department leaders to understand how their teams operate, then build systems that match
• Connect core platforms so data is entered once and everyone trusts the numbers
• Set data governance standards and give leadership clear reporting on pipeline, schedule, and budget
• Lead system implementations and manage outside consultants and vendors
• Partner with the CFO on oversight of the managed IT provider and the company’s cybersecurity practices

I’m partnering with a fast-growing, project-based company in the infrastructure space to find a senior leader for business systems. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the CFO. You’ll take ownership of the platforms the company runs on and build the systems function as the business grows.

The company runs much of its project tracking, workflows, and reporting in Smartsheet. They need someone who can bring structure to that environment, build a reliable data foundation underneath it, and turn manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes into systems people actually use.
