Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a Director of Finance Systems & ERP to lead the engineering organization responsible for the financial technology ecosystem, including NetSuite, Coupa, Planful, Stripe, ZoneBilling, Metronome, and Avalara. You will shape architecture, governance, and strategy to support ERP modernization and monetization transformations.

You will partner with Finance, Product, and Data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and auditable systems, driving data quality and AI-enabled improvements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across financial systems, enterprise application engineering, ERP, software engineering, systems architecture, or related technical disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, including managers, senior engineers, architects, or other technical leaders.
• Deep experience with NetSuite or comparable enterprise ERP platforms and ability to lead architecture and long-term strategy.
• Experience with SaaS billing and monetization architectures including subscription and usage-based models.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and long-term architecture for Smartsheet’s financial systems ecosystem (ERP, procurement, planning, payments, billing, tax, revenue).
• Lead the Financial Systems Engineering organization responsible for NetSuite, Coupa, Planful, Stripe, ZoneBilling, Metronome, Avalara, and related tech.
• Provide leadership for ERP modernization and major Finance transformation programs (reimplementation, modernization).
• Partner with Product Managers to translate strategy into technical roadmaps, architecture, and executable plans.
