Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Systems Development, Integration & Reporting to lead the development, integration, reporting, and support of the company’s business systems and data platforms.

- Review existing applications and processes to identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, or automation.
- Troubleshoot code, application, database, integration, and performance problems.

- Maintain source control and development workflows using Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar platforms.
- Follow a structured software-development lifecycle covering requirements, design, development, testing, user acceptance, deployment, and post-production support.
Systems and Integration Management
- Serve as a technical owner for assigned business applications, databases, integrations, and reporting platforms.
- Design, develop, maintain, and monitor integrations between internal systems, external vendors, clients, and business partners.
- Manage secure SFTP processes, including authentication keys, encryption, naming conventions, file validation, scheduling, acknowledgments, exception handling, and failed-file recovery.
- Develop and support REST API, JSON, XML, CSV, fixed-width, and other system-to-system data exchanges.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, services, data feeds, interfaces, and automated processes for successful completion.
- Investigate failed integrations, missing files, duplicate records, reconciliation differences, and data-quality issues.
- Maintain system diagrams, interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, credentials documentation, and recovery procedures.
- Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, conversions, testing, and vendor-supported changes.
- Ensure appropriate access controls, change management, backup procedures, and production safeguards are maintained.

- Investigate reporting discrepancies and reconcile results back to source systems.
- Work directly with Accounting, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and executive management to translate business requirements into dependable technical solutions.
- Establish reporting standards, naming conventions, testing requirements, documentation expectations, and release procedures.
IT Support and Production Operations
- Respond to and manage assigned IT service tickets involving business applications, databases, reports, integrations, user access, file transfers, and technical errors.
- Personally troubleshoot complex or high-priority production issues.
- Prioritize support requests based on urgency, business impact, compliance risk, and operational deadlines.
- Document investigation steps, root causes, resolutions, workarounds, and follow-up actions.
- Communicate clearly with employees regarding ticket status, expected resolution time, and final outcomes.
- Escalate infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, or vendor-related issues when appropriate.
- Identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions, monitoring, or automation.
- Participate in incident response, business continuity, and disaster-recovery planning for assigned systems.
Leadership and Management
- Directly supervise a SQL Report Developer/Report Builder and potentially additional technical employees as the department grows.
- Assign and prioritize development, reporting, integration, maintenance, and support work.
- Review employee workloads, project status, ticket queues, deadlines, and completed work.
- Provide technical direction, coaching, training, performance feedback, and accountability.
- Review code, SQL queries, reports, documentation, testing results, and deployment plans before production release.
