Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a Director of Finance Systems & ERP to lead the engineering organization powering our financial operations, including ERP, billing, planning, and monetization. You will define technology strategy, drive major transformation programs, and ensure scalable, secure architectures across CRM, ERP, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial systems, enterprise app engineering, ERP, or related technical fields.
• 5+ years leading technical teams including managers and senior engineers.
• Deep experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms and architecture leadership.
• Experience leading major ERP implementations and transformations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes: record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, billing, revenue.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term architecture for Smartsheet’s financial systems across ERP, payments, billing, tax, and monetization.
• Lead the Financial Systems Engineering org and oversee platforms like NetSuite, Coupa, Planful, Stripe and Avalara.
• Drive ERP modernization, modernization and monetization initiatives with governance and engineering standards.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and plans.
• Establish data contracts, quality, lineage, and governance across ERP and finance data flows.
• Lead AI strategy for Financial Systems to improve productivity, controls, and accuracy.
