Our client is a growing, multi-location organization seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Systems Manager to take ownership of its business systems environment and help build the technology foundation for its next stage of growth.
This is not a traditional IT infrastructure or help-desk leadership position. It is a software-centric, hands-on role for someone who enjoys personally solving problems, improving systems, building integrations, managing implementations, and working directly with business leaders.
The IT Systems Manager will own the strategy, administration, optimization, integration, security, and lifecycle management of the company's core business applications. This individual will also play a major role in building the company's data warehouse and business intelligence/reporting capabilities.
The position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will partner closely with executive leadership and leaders across Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service.
We are seeking a builder and doer, not someone who needs a large internal team to execute.
The ideal candidate brings:
Experience in IT systems consulting or a broad systems implementation environment would be particularly attractive.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond maintaining individual applications and take ownership of an entire business systems ecosystem.
You should be comfortable operating independently, rolling up your sleeves, solving complex problems, challenging inefficient processes, working directly with executives, and building systems that can support a growing organization.
There are no initial direct reports. You will personally lead projects and manage outside vendors, consultants, and service providers as needed.
This is an opportunity to have significant visibility and influence within a growing organization. Rather than inheriting a large IT department, you will have the ability to help design, build, integrate, and improve the technology environment
