CareerWise is a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization that creates life-changing opportunities for the youngest generation of America’s workforce. We build industry-led, student-centered, modern youth apprenticeships through classroom and on-the-job learning, providing flexible, alternative pathways to economic mobility. We have hundreds of CareerWise apprentices in the workplace, charting new paths to academic and career success. Our programs have launched in multiple states, leveraging our institutional knowledge, technology, and infrastructure, with workforce and education leaders from across the country visiting to learn about our youth apprenticeship model.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief of Staff and People Operations, the Director of Human Resources will provide leadership and strategic direction for all HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role will serve as a consultant to leadership on HR needs and partner across the organization to deliver value-added services to staff.

Location:
Candidates must reside in/near Denver, CO, or New York, NY. Hybrid work schedule with some in-office days; remote work is not guaranteed and must be approved. Occasional in-person gatherings may occur.
Compensation
Salary range: $84,400 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, 401(k) with employer contribution, and flexible time off.
