The Judge Group is currently seeking a Director of People & Culture to work at a government contracting organization. This position is remote with travel to New York.
This positions requires significant experience working at a federal government contracting organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Lead our recruiting and talent acquisition team to attract and retain information technology professionals who have the necessary clearances to work on government contracts and who exemplify company’s standard of operational excellence.
- Develop dynamic clearance-based recruiting strategies, evolve and improve company’s applicant tracking systems, and assist with implementation of a comprehensive compensation, benefits and recognition program that attracts, rewards and retains top talent in a competitive marketplace.
- In collaboration with management and legal to develop policies to ensure compliance with applicable law and contract requirements.
- Partnering with management and legal to develop a team member guidebook that will effectively outline for team members policies for a multi-state/multi-jurisdiction workforce.
- Oversight of the payroll function to ensure that all team members are paid accurately and on time, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contract requirements for a multi-jurisdictional employer using ADP and Unanet.
- Establish a learning and development program for our company that empowers team members to grow, succeed, deliver outstanding performances and ensure understanding and compliance with our policies.
- Recommend and implement performance management program and retention strategies that leverage real-time feedback and meaningful career development to drive retention, growth and advancement for information technology professions in a project-based work environment, including government contracts requiring different levels of security clearances and certifications.
- Develop initiatives, programing and training to reinforce company’s culture and leadership, and to retain top talent. Strengthen team member engagement among a geographically diverse work force and align team members with company’s culture and priorities.
- Responsible for administering all team member benefits – including health, retirement and leave programs – including leading open enrollment, communications, ensuring compliance with benefit programs, overseeing required filings, and working with team members on individual benefits.
- Works closely with company’s Facility Security Officer in the recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of cleared team members to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable law.
- Establish regular audit results to ensure accuracy of team member pay, benefits enrollments, and benefit plan compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:- At least 10 years of people and culture management/operations experience with a large, operationally diverse organization in the government contracting industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in organization(s) engaged in government contracting.
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or human resources or equivalent experience is required, with a Master’s in Human Resources or an MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA and other applicable wage, hour and labor laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated business and technical writing abilities.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Human Capital Management experience.
