Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Housekeeping at Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Arizona. This role leads housekeeping and laundry operations, drives guest satisfaction, and oversees budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• At least 2 years' supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and inventories.
• Background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Schedule staff in line with labor standards and occupancy.
• Partner with GM on the annual department budget and performance.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain consistent room quality and cleanliness.
• Report room status to the front office for smooth ops.
• Oversee lost-and-found procedures and security of items.
• Establish systems for on-loan equipment security.
• Monitor productivity and labor costs to meet budget.
• Conduct inventories and manage supplies and equipment.
