Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. in Middlebury, CT, is seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead long-range planning and integration across the hospice program. This full-time role emphasizes strategic expansion, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet patient care goals.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary range of $97,000–$107,000. The position is on-site with coverage for Middlebury/Farmington and no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated finance experience and/or understanding, including financial goal setting, budget forecasting and implementation of controls to monitor progress toward financial goals.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplinary lines in the market place and within the agency, both at local and national levels.
• Prior administrative experience dealing with business office issues; prior knowledge of hospice program requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a Director of Business Operations, you will manage long-range planning for the hospice program.
• Orchestrate strategy for expansion of the local program through market analysis to anticipate timing and need for geographic expansion.
• Assist the Director, Business Development in transitioning from long-range forecasts to execution of plans.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure staffing goals align with patient care goals.
• Provide supervision for office staff and ensure pre-billing documentation is submitted timely.
