Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Director of Graduate Medical Education to oversee accreditation processes for individual specialty programs and institutional accreditation, and to direct the administrative operations of medical education programs.

You will coordinate readiness for ACGME reviews, manage residents and program coordinators, and collaborate with GME leadership and facility executives on budgets, staffing, and program affiliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in graduate medical education (GME) or healthcare education; equivalent work experience may substitute.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and 3 years’ GME experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of GME experience; management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of accreditation processes for institutional and program levels; readiness planning for ACGME reviews.
• Manage budgets and HR for GME staff, and supervise program coordinators and residents.
• Assist in creating/streamlining affiliation agreements and onboarding of learners across campuses.
