Job summary
Lilly is seeking a senior Construction Manager to lead a team delivering global capital projects with a budget of at least $1B USD. You will oversee field execution from design to completion, ensure safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, and coordinate with project leadership across sites worldwide.
Requires 20+ years in industrial construction, experience in brownfield/gree nfield projects, and willingness to relocate and travel. PE/CCM or PMP preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in capital project construction delivery in industrial or manufacturing facilities, with direct field supervision of large projects.
- Experience managing multiple construction contractors or CM firms.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and manage a team of 3–5 direct reports to safely execute large-scale capital programs of at least $1BN USD or more.
- Report to the Associate VP of GFD and coordinate with project leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead compliance with company policies, GMP where applicable, and regulatory frameworks.
- Develop safety and environmental execution plans and chair site safety leadership.
- Relocate and travel to project locations; oversee field execution budget and spend.
