Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead large-scale capital programs in a global facilities delivery setting. You will supervise a team of construction professionals and contractors, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards across Brownfield and Greenfield sites.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 20+ years in industrial construction, and experience managing multiple contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field required.
Minimum of 20+ years of experience in capital project construction delivery in industrial/manufacturing facilities, with direct field supervision of projects or programs >$500MM.
Experience executing greenfield and large brownfield construction projects.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple construction contractors or CM firms simultaneously.
Willingness to relocate and/or travel to project locations outside home state/country.

Responsibilities

Oversee field construction activities for large capital programs of $1BN+ and ensure safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Serve as the primary liaison between field teams and program leadership; facilitate issue resolution and scope changes.
Lead with compliance to Company policies, GMP where applicable, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement safety and environmental execution plans for all scopes; participate in the site safety leadership team.
