Job summary

Lilly, a global pharmaceutical leader headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead large-scale capital projects in Global Facilities Delivery. You will supervise a team of 3–5 indirect reports, manage field execution from design through turnover, and ensure safety, cost, and schedule are met across Brownfield and Greenfield sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of capital project construction delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Large-scale greenfield and brownfield construction experience.
• Directly or indirectly overseeing multiple construction contractors or CM firms.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to project locations outside home state/country.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field execution of large capital programs (>= $1B USD), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Serve as primary interface between field teams and program leadership; coordinate with governance bodies and partners.
• Lead with disciplined construction management in line with GMP where applicable and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans from mobilization to turnover.
