Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a senior Construction Manager to lead large-scale capital programs in Global Facilities Delivery. You will supervise a team, ensure safety, schedule, and cost objectives across Brownfield and Greenfield sites, and report to the Sr. Director of Projects.

The role requires 10+ years in capital project construction, experience overseeing multiple contractors, and willingness to relocate or travel. GMP/LEAN PM certifications are preferred; relocation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in capital project construction delivery in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with greenfield and large brownfield construction projects.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction contractors or CM firms.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction from detailed design through mechanical completion, ensuring safety, cost, schedule and quality goals.
• Serve as primary interface between field teams and program leadership, maintaining cross-functional communication.
• Lead compliance with company policies, GMP requirements where applicable, and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans and lead safety leadership on site.
