Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Construction Manager within Global Facilities Delivery to lead field construction for large-scale, $1B+ capital programs in industrial/manufacturing settings. You will supervise 3–5 direct reports, manage safety, cost, schedule, and quality from design through mechanical completion, and partner with program leadership and site stakeholders.

The role requires relocation/travel as needed, with extensive interaction across global teams and adherence to GMP and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
15+ years of experience in capital project construction delivery in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
Experience supervising multiple contractors or CM firms.
Willingness to relocate/travel to project locations outside home state/country.
Demonstrated leadership in field construction with safety focus.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and manage a team of 3–5 direct reports for large-scale capital programs ($1BN+).
Oversee field execution from detailed design through mechanical completion, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
Own field execution budget, cost forecasting, change management, and financial controls.
Serve as primary liaison between field teams and program leadership; manage communications with stakeholders.
Develop and implement safety/environment plans and ensure compliance with GMP/regulatory frameworks.
