Job summary

Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) seeks a Director of Gender-Based Violence & Trauma Services to lead DV and trauma programs at 26 Bay Street and the Staten Island Family Justice Center. You will oversee clinical services, case management, safety planning, and trauma-informed care, ensuring survivor-centered practices and coordination across sites.

Qualifications

• LMSW preferred; related licensure preferred.
• 4+ years of mental health/trauma counseling experience.
• 2+ years supervising staff or managing programs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop program strategy and goals for DV and trauma services.
• Supervise DV & Trauma Services staff.
• Facilitate DV-focused prevention counseling and case management meetings.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of GBV programming.
• Develop SOPs for GBV and Trauma Services.
• Monitor DV data and report to management.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and Family Justice Center.
