Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX seeks a Director of Fleet and Equipment to lead all fleet, equipment, tooling and maintenance for multiple solar EPC projects. Hybrid work arrangement; travel up to 25%; reports to Senior Director of Subcontracts.

The role partners with Construction, Procurement, Project Management and Legal to optimize vendor contracts, ensure cost control, and align with long-term business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7–12 years in Fleet & Equipment and/or relevant SCM experience.
• 4–7 years purchasing and managing fleet, equipment and tooling in the Solar industry with utility scale PV/PV plus Storage.
• Knowledge in contracting, purchasing, master agreement creation/negotiation/management, fleet management, rebate programs, and tooling management.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fleet and Equipment team in support of project construction and operations.
• Develop and execute fleet strategy to improve efficiency and align with business goals.
• Negotiate vendor terms, manage contracts, and monitor pricing and cost savings.
• Establish and maintain fleet/equipment management plans and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, Project Management, Safety, and Legal.
