Job summary

Field of Talent in Dixon, IL is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy, integrity, and profitability of our manufacturing operations. You will mentor a dedicated accounting team and collaborate with executive leadership to translate high‑level finance into actionable operations insights.

You will oversee cost accounting, ERP optimization, and IT/vendor management while guiding the organization toward long‑term growth and a clear pathway to the CFO role.

Qualifications

• CPA is required and CPA active status is expected.
• Strong GAAP and external reporting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a finance team and coordinating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and capital project analysis.
• Oversee GAAP compliance, internal controls, AP/AR, payroll, audits.
• Lead standard costing, inventory valuation, and margin improvements.
• Manage IT operations, vendor relations, and regulatory compliance.
