Field of Talent in Dixon, IL is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy across manufacturing operations. You will mentor a 7-person accounting team, partner with executive leadership, and drive profitability through standard costing, ERP optimization, and robust forecasting.

Relocation assistance is available and a clear path to CFO is part of the career plan. A CPA and 6+ years in manufacturing finance are preferred for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• GAAP financial reporting and full-cycle accounting experience.
• Manufacturing cost accounting with standard costing, variance analysis.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and capital project evaluation.
• 6+ years of finance/accounting with 3+ years in leadership in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial leadership and executive strategy with budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee GAAP compliance, internal controls, AP/AR, payroll, audits and tax.
• Direct cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, margin improvement.
• Manage IT operations and vendor relationships, review contracts, ensure regulatory compliance.
