Job summary

Sewer Equipment is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the Accounting team in Dixon, IL. The role partners with the executive team to improve profitability, cash flow, and growth while overseeing IT and controls.

Responsibilities include annual budgets, rolling forecasts, KPIs, month-end close, and audits. CPA required, 8–10+ years’ experience, and manufacturing sector familiarity are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required.
• 8–10+ years in accounting/finance with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Manufacturing or industrial equipment industry experience preferred.
• GAAP, cost and inventory accounting, and internal controls knowledge.
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience (Made2Manage) and Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting team and oversee financial reporting integrity.
• Partner with executives to drive profitability, cash flow, and growth.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and KPI dashboards (margin, cost, cash).
• Oversee month-/year-end close, audits, and tax filings.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP utilization.
