Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead enterprise-wide process governance and continuous improvement across field operations and technical service. You will standardize controls and partner cross-functionally to improve accountability, service reliability, and performance.

This role requires field leadership, travel to service centers and customer sites, and collaboration with HSSE, Finance, IT, and HR to drive safety and efficiency across all territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in field operations, technical service, or multi-site operations.
• Proven ability to standardize processes across dispersed teams.
• Strong knowledge of field service execution, workflow mapping, and problem solving.
• Excellent writing, facilitation, communication, and project management skills.
• Lean Six Sigma, ASQ, PMP, or similar experience/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Govern enterprise standards for field operations and technical service, including SOPs and work order management.
• Maintain process documentation, job aids, and training materials for consistent execution.
• Identify process variation and convert proven workflows into scalable standards.
• Monitor performance, backlog aging, service windows, and escalation resolution.
• Conduct audits, Gemba walks, and field observations to drive corrective actions.
• Facilitate cross-functional process design with Operations, Logistics, Finance, IT, HR, and leadership.
