Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead field operations for our Mission Critical sector, serving hyperscale and co-location clients.

You will work with the VP of Construction, Field Teams, and Project Teams to drive operational excellence and project success. Responsibilities include startup mobilization, schedule development, staff recruitment and mentorship, client engagement, and strict cost controls to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mission Critical Field Operations: Direct and manage all field activities for hyperscale and co-location data center projects.
• Oversee Project Start-Up: Manage mobilization, site logistics, safety programs, and project team structure.
• Own Schedule Development and Management: Create and oversee detailed project schedules and mitigate risks for on-time delivery.
• Build, Place, and Mentor Staff: Recruit, hire, place, and mentor field personnel; ensure accountability for performance.
• Client Engagement: Present to prospective clients and maintain ongoing client relationship programs.
• Project Profitability and Controls: Achieve maximum project profitability with robust cost controls.
• Team Training and Development: Train staff in estimating, scheduling, construction management, and company tools.
• Employee Management: Assist VP of Field Operations with evaluations, compensation, and terminations.
