Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead the Mission Critical field teams responsible for hyperscale and co-location data center projects nationwide. You will collaborate with the VP, field teams, and project teams to drive operational excellence and project success.

The role emphasizes schedule development, staffing, client engagement, cost controls, and mentorship to build high-performing teams while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all field activities for hyperscale and co-location data center projects.
• Take ownership of project mobilization: site logistics planning, safety program implementation, and team structure.
• Create detailed project schedules and maintain oversight to ensure on-time delivery.
• Recruit, hire, and placement of staff; mentor team members and ensure performance.
• Present to prospective clients and participate in client relationship programs.
• Ensure robust cost controls and proper documentation to maximize project profitability.
• Train staff in estimating, scheduling, construction management, and Ryan Tools.
• Assist VP of Field Operations in employee evaluation and compensation recommendations.
• Review estimates, ensure proper close-out, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Prepare monthly project status reports and support field meetings.
• Stay current on union issues and labor agreements; communicate industry developments.
