Job summary

Primekss North America seeks a Director of Operations & Estimating to serve as the operational Integrator, directing end-to-end project execution and implementing rigorous quality control across partner sites. This leader will drive the automated dosing fleet, develop accurate takeoffs, and build North American operations infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on field experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, ready-mix operations, or self-perform concrete contracting.
• 5 years of experience leading field crews, project teams, or operational units with progression to leadership.
• Deep technical understanding of concrete mix designs, admixtures, aggregate ratios, slump, curing chemistry, and placement mechanics.
• Comfortable around machinery and able to diagnose field equipment and troubleshoot dosing systems on job sites.
• Proven ability in blueprint reading, quantity takeoffs, and generating bottom-up cost estimates from production rates and supplier quotes.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments and build operational systems and SOPs.
• Strong emotional intelligence to coach and influence independent crews and collaborate across time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; ACI certifications and OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct active project delivery from contract booking through pour to final turnover.
• Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert on site for field leadership and contractor enablement.
• Direct the dosing machine fleet program and coordinate with central warehouse for staging, maintenance, and repairs.
• Produce accurate quantity takeoffs and bottom-up cost estimates; vet regional suppliers and labor rates; perform reconciliations.
• Formalize SOPs, machine logs, QA checklists; hire, onboard, and mentor additional team members for North American operations.
