Job summary

Spire Building Solutions is seeking a Director of Concrete Restoration & Building Envelope Operations to own the regional project portfolio, lead Project Managers, Foremen, and field crews, and ensure top-tier safety, quality, and profitability across all active and planned projects.

The role blends executive judgment with hands-on leadership in concrete restoration, waterproofing, repair, and building envelope work.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive construction operations experience, including multi-project leadership
Experience leading Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews
Strong P&L and financial management at portfolio level
Deep knowledge of self-performed concrete restoration, waterproofing, and building envelope work
Proven client-facing leadership with owners, associations, and design professionals
OSHA-30 knowledge; scaffold and aerial-lift competencies preferred

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end portfolio accountability across active and pipeline projects.
Lead, develop, and mentor project teams (PMs, Superintendents, Foremen).
Protect schedule, margin, and quality across the portfolio.
Manage budgets, forecasts, labor/equipment plans, and cost-to-complete projections.
Drive change orders and ensure scope changes are monetized.
Maintain portfolio-level procurement and subcontractor spend.
Engage in preconstruction activities for awarded work.
Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on portfolio status, risk, and forecasts.
Foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement across teams.
Build and sustain long-term client relationships across the region.
