Job summary

Pleasanton North Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize and direct the Maintenance Department in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. You will ensure safety, schedule maintenance, and coordinate with other departments to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a supervisory maintenance/plant role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Licensed in accordance with current standards and laws.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed across shifts.
• Coordinate maintenance with Dietary, Nursing, Activities and other departments.
• Supervise safety and fire protection programs; ensure PPE use.
• Maintain MSDS records and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
• Inspect facilities and equipment; report damage to Administrator.
• Prepare and monitor the Maintenance Department budget; submit reports.
