Job summary

Northparkhealthcenter seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the facility's maintenance team, ensure safety, and drive preventive maintenance programs. The role focuses on HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency equipment, with budgeting and contractor supervision to keep the facility compliant and operational.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing supplies and departmental budgets.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise team members.
• Promote safety & compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies & budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain standards: ensure facility and equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety adherence.
• Coordinate schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
