Job summary

Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our facilities maintenance program and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

In this role, you will supervise maintenance personnel, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with other departments and vendors to deliver high-quality service while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations including repairs, renovations, and capital projects.
• Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and programs.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for timely, cost-effective service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
