Job summary

The Director of Facility Management at Gila County leads the Facility Management team to deliver safe, clean, and compliant county facilities in Globe or Payson, AZ. This full-time role oversees capital projects, contract administration, budgeting, and environmental and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, capital construction, or infrastructure operations, with supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees facility management and capital construction programs to meet objectives, budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
• Leads hiring decisions, performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development.
• Prepares and presents annual facility management budgets and a 5‑year outlook.
• Negotiates, awards, and administers professional services and construction contracts; manages RFP/RFQ processes.
