Job summary

Gila County in Arizona is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate renovation and new construction projects from initiation through planning, design, and construction with involved agencies. You will assist the Facilities Management Construction Project Manager in monitoring scope, timeline, and budget, prepare status reports, and maintain project documentation using the project management software.

This role requires field work at project sites and office duties, with emphasis on contractor

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Project Management, Business Management or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Four (4) years directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Management Construction Project Manager in coordinating planning and execution of projects; monitor scope, budget, and timeline; maintain all project documentation and project management software.
• Monitor contractor performance and safety; prepare written evaluations.
• Coordinate the design process to meet project goals; develop punch lists; conduct final inspections and develop close-out reports.
• Perform general administrative duties; prepare meeting agendas/minutes; compile monthly progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
