Job summary

Gila County Community College seeks a senior leader to manage the Facility Management team, delivering a safe, clean environment for officials, employees, and the public while ensuring fiscal accountability.

The role sets strategic goals for facility management, capital construction, and land management county-wide, directing planning, design, and contract administration of major projects, in coordination with county leadership and regulatory partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, capital construction, or infrastructure operations, including supervisory/leadership experience.
• Professional credential such as CFM, FMP, CCM, PMP, CPM or similar preferred; valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the County’s capital construction program, including planning, design, and delivery of multi-million dollar projects to meet objectives, budget, schedule, and regulatory requirements.
• Leads, mentors, and evaluates staff to provide fiscally responsible, effective facility management across county facilities.
• Determines strategic goals and operational priorities for upkeep, maintenance, repair, remodel and construction of all facilities.
