Job summary

Omnicom seeks a Director of Experience Design Strategy in New York to lead patient-centered solutions by uniting human-centered design with strategic expertise. You will drive empathy, ideation, and iterative prototyping, delivering strategic recommendations and coaching a team of Experience Design Strategists.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to create transformative patient experiences, applying design psychology and storytelling to guide initiatives and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/advanced degree in Service Design, UX, Strategic Design, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Experience Design Strategy, Service Design, and Customer Experience.
• Expertise in Service Design, applying strategic UX/UI principles, and creating visual representations of experiences.
• Knowledge of design psychology and storytelling to convey user needs.
• Skilled in facilitating design sprints and ideation with actionable outputs.
• Proven management experience coaching Experience Design Strategists.

Responsibilities

• Design and build patient-centric support programs and services with clear briefs.
• Develop user research, ethnography, and co-design plans; lead ideation sessions.
• Guide value proposition development for products and services and prototypes.
• Create service blueprints and experience maps to visualize interactions.
• Apply design psychology to inform strategic recommendations and ideation.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations to guide teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Mentor and coach direct reports to excel in experience design strategy.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
