Job summary

Emporia Holdings seeks a Director of Business Systems to own and consolidate the company’s core application stack. You will be the single accountable owner for Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Maxio, HubSpot, and related SaaS tools, ensuring data integrity and scalable integrations across the business.

You will partner with Finance and GTM leadership to translate operating problems into system requirements, drive improvements, and support M&A activity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business systems, business applications, enterprise applications, or revenue operations, including 3+ years owning a multi-application stack end to end.
• Hands-on depth in at least two of Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Maxio (or comparable like Zuora/Chargebee/Recurly), and HubSpot.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production integrations, via iPaaS or direct API work.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; comfortable in a warehouse or BI layer.
• Experience supporting a subscription software business.

Responsibilities

• Own system ownership and administration for key apps (Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Maxio, HubSpot) and supporting SaaS tools.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations across lead-to-cash: HubSpot to Salesforce, Maxio revenue recognition, Intacct consolidation.
• Define and enforce a master data model and data pipelines for recurring reporting (ARR, churn, bookings, revenue).
• Reduce manual reconciliation by strengthening automated data flows and reducing spreadsheet gaps.
• Partner with Finance and GTM leadership; translate operating problems into system requirements and advocate for efficient changes.
• Support M&A activity: due diligence, integration planning, onboarding acquired companies onto the Emporia stack.
• Establish governance, environment and release discipline; manage access controls, audit trails, and documentation.
