Job summary

Pivot Energy is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Applications to build and run the core business systems team. Initially focused on Salesforce, expanding to Procore, Sage Intacct, ArcGIS, and AlsoEnergy as the function matures.

You will own stakeholder relationships, prioritize work, and transition external work into a durable in-house capability. You will lead a working platform team, define governance, and drive system reliability and delivery quality while aligning with Strategy,

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise systems or applications roles.
• 6+ years leading a team.
• Experience owning or leading a Salesforce program.
• Experience managing vendor or contractor relationships, including transitions in-house.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• People management: hiring, coaching, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and prioritization model across Salesforce, Procore, Sage Intacct, ArcGIS, and AlsoEnergy translating business needs into a sequenced delivery plan.
• Build and lead the platform team accountable for capability delivery across all three systems.
• Serve as primary business stakeholder liaison: gather requirements and communicate tradeoffs.
• Partner with VP, Technology & Data on design decisions; manage governance and technical debt.
• Own transition plan for moving work from external contractors in-house.
• Define and track KPIs and SLAs for platform reliability and throughput.
• Lead sequencing of platform expansion across systems and coordinate with system owners.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance for the platform team.
• Report roadmap progress and platform health to leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform other special projects as assigned.
