Job summary

Harris is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead enterprise-wide manufacturing strategy, performance, and scalability across all facilities. You will provide leadership to plant managers and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and priorities.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience overseeing multi-facility manufacturing or fabrication operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and plant operations.
• Strong understanding of capacity planning and throughput optimization.
• Strong understanding of capital investment and equipment strategy.
• Proven ability to lead through influence across geographically distributed teams.
• Experience operating at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise accountability for manufacturing performance including safety, quality, throughput, cost, and delivery.
• Lead plant managers via direct or dotted-line reporting to align with standards.
• Set enterprise standards, targets, and investment direction for infrastructure and capacity.
• Identify system constraints with partners and prioritize improvements.
• Sponsor cross-facility improvement efforts with measurable results.
• Lead regional manufacturing expansions and site selection.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, estimating, product management, and construction.
• Ensure products are manufacturable, scalable, and supported by standard facilities.
