Job summary

Harris is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead enterprise-wide manufacturing strategy, performance, and capacity across multiple facilities in the United States. You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and construction teams to drive scalable, product-driven manufacturing and strong operational outcomes.

This role centers on systems, standards, and accountability, with responsibility for safety, quality, throughput and delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience overseeing multi-facility manufacturing or fabrication operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and plant operations.
• Capacity planning and throughput optimization.
• Capital investment and equipment strategy.
• Experience leading through influence across geographically distributed teams.
• Experience operating at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise accountability for manufacturing performance, including safety, quality, throughput, cost, and delivery.
• Lead plant managers and align with enterprise standards and priorities.
• Set enterprise standards, targets, and investment direction for infrastructure and productivity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify system-level constraints and drive improvements.
• Lead expansion into new regions and capacity scaling.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and construction teams on cross‑facility projects.
• Ensure products are manufacturable and scalable through standardized processes.
