Job summary

Seattle University seeks an experienced leader to serve as Director of Enrollment Research and Analytics. The role develops predictive enrollment models and maintains reporting libraries to guide admissions and recruitment strategy.

The ideal candidate will transform multiple data sources into actionable insights, collaborating with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs and campus partners to optimize net tuition revenue and student success through evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in social sciences, business, education, statistics or related field.
• 3+ years in data mining and predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of SAS, R, SPSS or other analytics tools.
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with student information systems and higher education data.
• Ability to present analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Strong data visualization and decision-support skills.
• Understanding of FERPA and higher education data compliance.
• Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM.
• Understanding of financial aid and leveraging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical enrollment data, market trends, and external data sources to inform forecasting.
• Develop predictive enrollment models and enrollment forecasts.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive suite of enrollment reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs and campus partners to optimize data usage.
• Translate stakeholder needs into research and analysis priorities and provide strategic guidance.
