ProMach is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering – New Product Development to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering group focused on creating new product lines and optimizing legacy products. You will partner with the GM and Sales to define requirements, drive a disciplined development process, and deliver high-value innovations that meet cost, quality, and timeline targets.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience developing and improving operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or Syteline ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Own the new product development portfolio and lead products from VOC discovery through design, prototyping, validation, production launch, and post-launch review.
• Work with the GM to develop and execute a multi-year product and technology roadmap aligned with business strategy and growth objectives.
• Establish and improve a disciplined NPD process with stage gates, ownership, documentation, and executive visibility.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, customers, and ProMach units to identify unmet needs, define requirements, and prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet targets for scope, schedule, quality, performance, manufacturability, cost, and ROI.
• Support rapid learning via feasibility, prototyping, testing, design reviews, risk assessment, and V&V.
• Embed DFM, DFA, standardization, modularity, reliability, safety, serviceability, and target-cost principles early.
• Help build an innovation-focused culture by recruiting, developing, mentoring, and retaining engineers.
• Allocate resources across portfolio, sustaining engineering, projects, and initiatives while safeguarding milestones.
• Monitor metrics such as milestone attainment, cycle time, risk, cost, quality, and launch readiness; report progress to leadership.
• Maintain engineering standards, documentation, IP practices, and change-management processes while driving improvements.
