Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of packaging machinery. You will oversee the Mechanical Engineering department, drive project scope, and collaborate with sales, operations and service to meet customer requirements.

You will develop processes, mentor engineers, and ensure product safety, reliability and performance across projects while aligning with business goals and schedules.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in design and/or application engineering.
• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Packaging Machinery preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Mechanical Engineering department and ensure design objectives are achieved.
• Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments across the team.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Service to ensure on-time delivery and project success.
• Develop processes, best practices and test programs to ensure safety, reliability and performance of products.
• Provide coaching and training to direct and indirect reports to enhance performance.
