HHM Hotels in Irving, TX seeks a Director of Engineering to lead maintenance operations across the hotel, ensuring guest service and sustainability standards are met. The role focuses on supervising staff, budgeting, safety, and project management to maintain first-class facilities.

Responsibilities include vendor coordination, life-safety system upkeep, preventive maintenance, and regular reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory engineer/maintenance experience required or equivalent training.
• Certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform to brand/hotel standards and HHM values.
• Maintain the hotel R&M budget.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Oversee bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd-party vendors.
• Oversee small projects or PIPS and report progress.
• Maintain and repair life safety systems and ensure 100% operability.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM EarthView program.
• Provide weekly updates to Corporate/Regional Director of Engineering.
