The candidate will shape engineering standards, KPI tracking, and capital investments, ensuring top-tier quality, delivery, and unit economics across complex SMT/PCBA environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in EMS/contract manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years leading NPI and process development.
• Experience with high-reliability SMT/PCBA environments.
• Familiarity with ISO, aerospace, defense, medical regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct Engineering and Document Control departments, setting priorities and resources.
• Mentor and upskill engineering personnel for technical depth.
• Lead NPI lifecycle from quote to production ramp.
• Provide engineering assessments for quotation packages (DFM/DFT, tooling, routing).
• Guide DFM/DFT reviews to optimize yield and cost.
• Oversee process documentation, tooling design, machine programming, and work instructions.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation for regulatory and customer standards.
