Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Engineering Manager for our Seymour, CT electronics manufacturing services client. You will lead the technical engineering, documentation control, and SMT programming teams in a high-mix PCBA environment, ensuring data readiness from design to floor-ready production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electronics EMS, documenting, SMT programming, or manufacturing engineering.
• Prior supervisory or technical team leadership experience.
• Extensive PCBA high-mix, low-to-medium volume production experience.
• Deep knowledge of PCBA assembly, SMT, through-hole soldering, and docs lifecycle.
• Hands-on SMT programming with FUJI NXT III platforms.
• IPC-A-610 solder inspection knowledge and Component Identification.
• Proficient with Infor ERP, Aegis MES, CAD/CAM tools, and advanced Excel/VBA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Technical Engineering, Document Control, and SMT Programming teams.
• Establish workflows, metrics, and cross-training to reduce single points of failure.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, QA, and Planning to align data with build schedules.
• Oversee data intake, BOMs, Gerber, CAD, centroid/pick-and-place files, and ECOs.
• Manage ERP/MES data, routings, and shop-floor work instructions.
• Provide hands-on support on the shop floor during FAI and NPI.
